Instructor: Katharine King Flamion

Dates: Thursdays, 6PM - 9PM 10 sessions beginning May 1, 2025, ending July 24th 2025; This class will not meet June 19th, July 3rd or July 10th.

Prerequisite: Intro to Woodworking

A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to reserve your spot. Please fill out the registration info and then go to the cart to submit your non-refundable deposit. Your spot will not be reserved without a deposit.

The remainder of the tuition, $450, will be due the first evening of class. You will receive an email with additional details 1-2 weeks prior to the start of class.

Dovetails Jewelry Box Class

The ability to competently execute a hand cut dovetail is a necessary skill for quality woodcrafting. Much of this class will focus on acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to properly layout and cut a through dovetail joint.

Also, this class allows us the opportunity to further our understanding of hand planes and their use.

We will also learn the techniques needed to flawlessly fit jewelry box hinges into the lid and box carcass.

Duration: 10 weeks

Tuition: $425

Materials: $75
