Oak Bookcase Class - Thursday, Feb 19 - May 28, 2026 6PM-9PM

This class will not meet on April 2nd (Easter weekend).

Stickley Inspired Oak Bookcase
In this class we will construct a solid wood oak bookcase. The construction and design will be inspired by a Stickley Magazine Stand. Our version will be wider and there will be a few details students will have the option of customizing.
We will briefly review, and reinforce, concepts and skills learned in Intro class and then delve deeper into wood selection and utilization. We will learn the use of several new methods and tools (both hand and power tool options), touch on furniture design, allow opportunity for sharpening practice and discuss and have opportunity to try a variety of finishing options.
Duration: 14 weeks (minimum)
Cost: $750 total
Materials: $150 (to be covered by the deposit)
